General
Lesphotographes.org is a site with the association
Lesphotographes.com is an online magazine that publishes interviews with photographes and players in the world of photography and images. The founders of this magazine wanted to create this new activity to allow the public to meet experienced photographers and to have their own new experiences. Thanks to the practical and technical classes, we hope to pass on knowledge and pleasure about silver film and digital photography. We also hope to offer a large array of classes and thematic workshops about historical techniques.
Our era of communication based on images, makes it so that the universe of photography isn't monolithic, but multifaceted. It is constantly evolving. Without trying to represent all the currents in an exhaustive manner, we wanted our photographers to reflect the richenss of this diversity. That's why our team is composed of women and men with very different paths and approches. Their diversity is based on today's image of the world of photography.

To determine your level:
- you've just acquired a camera (of any model) and you've never done any photography, or you have done photography, but always with the "automatic" option and your first results didn't reach your expectations --> you're a "beginner."
- you have had a camera for a while and you know the settings but you still have many questions. At the time of the class or workshop, you wish to discover new techniques, change your habits and enlarge your potential creativity. We consider that you have acquired the basic notions of depth of field, composition, shutter speeds, ISO, etc. --> you're an "intermediate."
- you're no longer limited by the technical elements and you've got your own style, but you want to keep pushing your limits, practice and exchange with peers of a similar level through trips, workshops on new subjects, or meet well-known photographers --> you're "advanced."
In order to make homogenous groups and guarantee that our students have a quality learning experience, we must respect the notion of "levels." If you are a beginner, we invite you to consult our list of classes that allow you to access intermediate levels. This way, you can quickly feel more a ease and then have full access to a more developped, demanding learning experiences at the intermediate level.
Our definition of a "beginner":
you've just acquired a camera (of any model) and you've never done any photography, or you have done photography, but always with the "automatic" option and your first results didn't reach your expectations.

lesphotographes.org does not offer online photo classes, neither free nor for pay. We believe that human contact, and the interactions between the students and the photographers are indespensable.
Teachers, photographers
The members of our educational team are passionate about the subject they teach and they are selected for their pedagogy and their experience. Check out the page of all our photographers to know more.
After each class or workshop, you will be asked your opinion on the presentation of your experience. It's thanks to your opinions, which teacher can read, that our classes will be reevaluated and given a new perspective of the student.
